For all you idiots that keep asking the same stupid question over and over, let me give you in a nutshell how this works as I have set this up in my house and it works excellent. First of all, this device is only for people who have very bad signal where they live. Secondly, all you have to do is connected to your router or moden. Let it run for about 30 minutes. They say 2 hours but it only took 30 minutes for me. Once you see all of the green lights lite up on the device, then is ready! Then all you have to do now is turn off the wifi on your cell phone, look at how many bars you have on your phone now and do a speed test. I only had 1 bar before and now I have full bars and i am getting around 180mbps with my wifi turn off. For those saying if it works with your wifi what is the point? You're not getting it. The device works with wifi signal to increase your cell phone signal. Without the device, your cell signal relies only on the cell phone tower and that will be all. So is basically a signal booster amplified by your wifi. I hope you understand now how it works! If you are still lost then I suggest you don't order this device and just choose a different carrier!

Ugh. I live in a downstairs condo with strict HOA rules especially around our windows and TERRIBLE cell service. I can’t mount anything outside and I can’t put anything within 1-2 feet of my windows without being in violation of HOA rules (yes, the window rules are ridiculous, but they are still the rules). My wired internet is extremely fast, but the WiFi signal regularly goes down, I’m pretty sure because of crowded signals from all of my neighbors also using WiFi. I thought maybe this would be the solution because it uses WiFi, but it looks like you still have to attach something to the windows. Does anyone know any solutions that don’t require outside or window attachments?

Terrible advice to use any thumb drive. Nvidia even acknowledges that the Shield is a thumb drive killer, literally burning them to death. Use an external SSD instead. My Shield killed two different brand thumb drives within a span of 6 months, but my SSD has been running for years.

My cell spot quit working a couple weeks ago. Tech support SUCKS! After many calls to them it still doesn't work! One T-mobile tech told me I should maybe look at another carrier. I'm about to!

When me and my wife got T-Mobile service the service was not connecting while we had to connect our phones so Wi-Fi well I found out about this cell phone spot Tower thing and I'll tell you what it's doing a good job the only issue that it has is when your power goes out or the Wi-Fi acts up that's when the system will act up a little bit but on the other hand it works great

Hey Cody, I just chatted with Sony and I kind of don't believe them about the following LOL. I bought the AX700 and I love it. But I do put it on a 20 foot tripod at times to record sporting events. I asked if there is a way to turn the camcorder on and off either remotely or through some kind of wired device, and they said No. I suggested the camcorder's remote, the Sony app (Imaging Edge), and asked for a wired option. I prefer not to drop the tripod during halftime for example just to shut off the camera, so hoping there is a logical option.

This video only shows people that it has USB ports for using a thumbdrive as storage. Anyone who even knows what a thumbdrive is already knows what it's for. Duh!
